Shelves: fiction, books-to-movies, 2020-finished

I found out about this book because of the Netflix show. I loved the show so I wanted to see how the book compared to it.

The pacing of the book was very fast. It was nice that there wasn't too much chess jargon in it. While I have some knowledge of chess I was worried the book would bore me, but it didn't.

Absolutely loves it! Also I cannot believe it was adapted almost word for word!! Of course there were tiny details in the book that I liked, but also some other tiny details in the TV series that I liked. Overall, what a great pleasure to read this book (well, listen to it!)
