What an over-hyped mess! I tried to like the book but found it to be pretentious with a meandering "plot". The characters were underdeveloped and lackluster. There was lots of repetition and use of choppy sentences which didn't make the story flow. Other authors have used the story within a story much better. Overall, if this wasn't a book club pick, I would have stopped reading long before the end. ...more
