This was okay, I could have done without a few things that were in it as it didn't really make the flow of the story any better. Some pretty cool killer mermaids. ...more

Seven years ago the Atargatis lost all passengers on board while filming a mocumentary on mermaids. Now Imagine Entertainment is sending another ship full of scientists to the area to prove once and for all if mermaids are real. The book starts with Tory whose sister was on the Atargatis. I think the book would have been better if it stuck with Tory's POV but more and more charcters were added. The mermaids were scary but there was so much else lumped into the book, animal rights, environmental ...more

Very well written. Thoroughly entertaining. Interesting characters (though a bit cliche). Aspects of the ending left a little to be desired, but overall it was a very enjoyable read.
