Have you ever had one of those weeks when a couple of the books you're reading seem to be related even if they're from two different sections of the bookstore or library?

Unusually, I've watched the adaptation before reading the book! And thankfully, I've watched it so long ago that it's only a vague memory because it is somewhat different from the adaptation, I think. This (contemporary / romcom YA) is not my usual read but with the Asian flavour, I just had to pick this up and I'm so glad I did!

I think I have to stay away from YA for a while. I keep thinking I'll find some that will read as a good book rather than a good YA book. But, no.
This had quite a few good reviews and Audible was pushing it. When they added it to their Romance Package I figured I'd try it. It was sweet but way too light. And I can't see myself spending more time to listen to the 2nd and 3rd in the series. Even if they're free.
