But 'She’s dead' is the reason I’m still alive.
'She’s dead' is the reason I’m going to kill a man."
This was a complete surprise - it's such a good story. I'd heard hype and even some good reviews but I had no idea the wonder of a story I would find. I knew very little going in (and you should too!) It's told through alternating POV's - One is of Sadie as she goes on a journey. The other is a Podcast narrator as he tries to uncover the story of Sadie, who months later, is missing.

The audio book is more like half an audio book and half a radio play. I feel like this format is perfect for this book because while half of it is from Sadie's point of view, the other is a podcast with interviews.

I'm so glad I came back to this as an audiobook! It made such a great listen and the story kept surprising me as I went.

This is such a heartbreaking story, but also so important. The audiobook was done fantastically. Longer review later.
