Well, that was a wild ride! I went in expecting something totally different, but I loved this book.
Jasper Dent is the son of a VERY prolific serial killer. He is alone in the word (well, except for his crazy grandmother) and trying to convince himself that he can have a normal life. Wow.
Even days after finishing this one, I'm still just surprised by how much I really enjoyed it. I'm also surprised that I enjoyed something that made me feel so many different things -- from several laugh out loud moments to some that were disturbing.
I also found it fascinating watching Jazz struggle with what were real impulses, what were imagined, and how to tell the difference. Being raised by one of the most notorious serial killers (over 100 murders) Billy Dent, Jasper "Jazz" Dent finds ...more
