I think my head is still spinning from all the twists and turns that make up this story. I feel like I just put together a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle where I can see what the picture is supposed to be, but I don't have all the pieces in place. (BTW, I absolutely love doing jigsaw puzzles!)
The author mentions in the interview at the end of the book that this is like an Agatha Christie murder mystery with time travel and Quantum Leap thrown in. That description is right on the money. I felt like I w ...more

Shelves: throwback-list, my-bookshelf, 2022-books

This book lingered on my TBR shelf for quite awhile. I now know why I didn't want to just dive into this one. It's not a book that you can put down for any length of time and expect to go back to it a few days/weeks later. It takes all the focus you can muster. There's so many characters and the entire plot takes a flow chart to understand everything.

What the what.did I just read? The premise is what attracted me to the book but the writing was dull, the characters unremarkable ~ Silk this book was a hot mess.
