I enjoyed this book a lot and it's safe to say Andy Weir is now on my auto-buy author list. For me this is book was entertaining un a dorky sort of way, mainly because I love th techy side of the plot, the wicked plans Jazz concocted and the bravery she showed in all stances. I don't doubt her humour could annoy people, but I actually thought it fitting in a way. Life on the moon isn't so great. Defying all her "potential", Jasmine Bashara's become a porter (something like uber delivery) and supplementing her income with a side of smuggling. She's still barely making enough to live on. She's so tough, so very resilient and heartbreakingly broken; angry at the world and herself. She got me right in the heart; brilliant characterisation with amazing supportive cast as foils.

I had read a lot of bad reviews for this book and I thought to myself that it can't possibly be as bad as people are making it out to be! I started the book and initially it was mostly okay, I was invested in the story, Jazz was a bit weirdly characterized but even this didn't rub me the wrong way too much. Then as it went on it was just more of the same when it came to the plot, things started making less sense and Jazz started to become quit irritating and one dimensional.
