What Members Thought
Considering that I've read the graphic novel version and watched the movie, it was a pretty good read. I half-knew what to expect (of course, I didn't expect the graphic novel nor the movie to be 100% faithful to the book even though the graphic novel was pretty much bang on) so I supposed it lessened the enjoyment a bit. I didn't think I would enjoy this book, I didn't plan on picking it up because I thought it was a pretty silly idea and not original at all. However, it was full of adventure,

This was a fun read for all of us. All the mythology was educational for the kids (Alright, and a little for me too). The blending of mythology into the story in a unique way was my favorite part. The story didn't have a strong emotional pull, but the boys didn't seem to care.

This book was really fun. I liked how Mr. Riordan weaved Greek mythology into the modern world. Percy is a great main character and I plan to continue on with more of his adventures.
Finally decided to start reading the series. I thought this one was pretty good.
