This book is written in the pathologically dark voice of Joe Goldberg, who is trying to justify his deranged and antisocial behavior in his search for true love. At times you’ll laugh hysterically along with Joe in his wild antics to get his girl. It is hard to admit (out loud at least) that you might actually find him likable at times and even funny, too. The plot is cleverly staged and will have your head spinning and your mind screaming to make it stop.

Not really my genre. I really disliked how the author would try to make me sympathize with Joe and condemn Beck. I also found the characters unbelievable, even seen through the distorted lens of Joe's narration.
