What Members Thought
A great classic I would recommend to everyone. I love all the characters all the planets. The book just opens this world up to you and swallows you whole! I loved it!

I really enjoyed this grand science fiction classic. The world building was incredible, both the environment of the planet as well as the political and cultural aspects of the world. Although I liked the story and the characters, the book dragged a bit at the beginning for me and some interesting characters were introduced and then they dropped away never to appear again (perhaps they will reappear in the later books in the series).
