This was a fun YA novel that blended contemporary teenagers with dark faerie magic. The plot-line was interesting and had some clever parts, no jaw-dropping twists, but enough to keep it interesting. Sure, there were some things that were a little vague and nonsensical, but you just need to roll with it when dark, faerie-tale creatures are involved. There was nothing too graphic or sexually mature, so it definitely stayed within the YA genre. Overall, it was an enjoyable YA fantasy novel, and I ...more
