Shelves: contemporary, ya-childrens, coming-of-age, listened-to
Finch and Violet are both going through a lot when they meet in the bell tower at their school. This book alternates between their two voices and it felt a lot like a John Green book to me. Very enjoyable and very sad, with a helpful message from the author at the end.

An interesting read again. I went into this one not knowing it was another touching on the themes of teen suicide and suicidal thoughts. A great read unexpected

Oh my goodness. This book was so good, but so brutal. I will go see the movie when it comes out, but I am prepared to ugly-cry. The subject matter hit a little close to home. But i loved it.
