The final installment of the Lunar Chronicles finds Cress and her friends head to Luna to attempt to overthrow Queen Levana. Though the book is titled Winter the character Winter's story doesn't dominate the book. Her story is somewhat a retelling of Snow White, without the dwarfs. I really like all the characters in the book but this book was way too long. The story constantly switches between all the characters and it takes a very long time for anything to happen. The last third of the book wa ...more

So good. I love this series and I love when each book gets better and better. It takes skill to write about so many different characters while keeping the reader captivated and Marissa Meyer is as skilled as a ninja in the dead of night. She had my anxiety sky-rocket, my heart flutter, my palms sweat and still I couldn't get enough. Even when I put the book down to breathe and let my heart palpitations settle, I was right back to reading within minutes, wanting and needing to know what was happe ...more

This was a great series. Though I rated each book four stars, the entire series is five stars. So thankful to the librarian who recommended this series to me.

A great way to bring all of the loose ends together for a happy ending. I love the way the author ended this book like all fairy tales should end...with a happy ending. The writing was fantastic and made me keep on reading even when I should have been putting the book down to go to sleep at night becasue of work in the morning. I got so involved that I didn't want to put the book down.

This whole series is wonderfully written and so much fun to read. I would recommend them to anyone that likesa

I really enjoyed this series and loved the elements of the original fairy tales that were incorporated into this new world.

This would have been a lot better at about half the length. The same things kept happening over and over, except with different characters. And constant descriptions about what everyone was wearing and how they looked. And having four different romantic couples was a bit much. And the bad guys were hilariously incompetent.

If you loved the series to begin with, you'll probably love the ending. But if, like me, you're just reading to see how it all ends, you'll probably be annoyed and a bit bored
