Why I picked it up:

I received this one from Bloomsbury in exchange for an honest review. I actually picked it up and started reading it a couple of times, before finally sitting down and committing to it 100%.

Fantasy - I like the romance, the world, the characters and the story in general. But... what really sticks out in this book is the weakest set up for the next book I have EVER read- I don't we're in spoiler territory to say Rhysand makes it to the end of the book. The set up occurs close to the end of the book Rhysand is in the middle of a discussion and... poof! gets startled and is yanked out of the scene never to reappear- no more information is given. I enjoyed the book, it was a quick read. It didn’t grab my the way other YAs of a similar genre have, but I will keep reading the series and hope it gets better or at least is entertaining.
