Ok where shall I start apart from very carefully - I am always weary of commenting about famous or popular books as you can guarantee someone will come up and take a pop at you over criticising their bestest book ever! Okay that may be a little extreme but still what can be said that has not been said already.
So that said I will put my hand up and say I enjoyed it - The book left me asking more questions than I think it gave me answers, although I will not go away to ponder them for days to come ...more

This book has a very readable, easily engaging narrative that at first, fooled me into thinking it was simplistic. Well, THAT didn't last long, and I was quickly pulled into the 1200 some pages of this absolutely absorbing novel! I'm pleased to know that there either are, or are planned, sequels, because I'm now going to pursue anything else written by Hugh Howey.
