Considering that The Lord of the Rings is one of the most popular books of the last century, it's surprising to see how few reviews there are here. My dad bought these books for me when I was in middle school and I've never looked back. They have been a source of joy for me ever since. The story is pretty well known, Frodo travels to Mount Doom with The One Ring to destroy it. Friends and allies come and go and the action is all over the place.
I'm not gonna lie some of the chapters are rather hard to get through for me because they are all descriptions and history, yet I still put these books on the top of my go-to book list for Fall readi ...more
