Tara  | 55 comments It has long amazed me how Tolkien so beautifully wrote a fundamentally Christian work (as he himself described it), without actually directly referencing Christianity at all. Many people miss this aspect as there is no religion of Middle-Earth, but its there for you to see....

A | 49 comments I was exposed to Tolkien very young, before I was Catechized in the Catholic Church, but once I started hearing about how his faith inspired his work, it really began to dawn on me.
