Excellent!!
I think this is actually my favourite JL. I enjoyed this more than book one in this series and surprisingly I enjoyed it more than the AE series.
In this story we really see Kit's snarky and vulnerable side. He nearly loses JX but an incident brings them back together and they try to find out who is making attempts on the life of Kit's former mentor.

Not as much humor as the first book of the series, but more of Kit and J.X. The readers get to experience the beginning of Kit and J.X.'s struggle to share their feelings and their fears. There was a special tenderness between the two of them even if Kit did fight their involvement because of his fear. Their story was beautiful in its reality and honesty.
