I think this qualifies as my favorite Hallows book so far. Rachel’s whining and “woe is me” attitude was beginning to get on my nerves. I just wanted her to grow up and accept that though she didn’t choose to be in her situation, some of her crazy choices put her there. Well she eventually got it together and when she started to accept herself things started popping! I absolutely love Pierce and what he forces Rachel to see about herself. This series just keeps getting better and better. I really love these characters and the fact that they are not one dimensional. While Rachel continues to be deep in the proverbial doo-doo, her character continues to grow and change, as do all the characters in the books. I love that they acknowledge who they are and their inherent natures and then go beyond that to be the person/vampire/witch/pixie that they want to be.
