Shelves: paranormal, fae, vampires, magic, uf

I really like this series, but I always dread starting a new book because they are very long and very involved and I know it will take me a lot longer to read than most books. But once I start, I'm always sucked into the story, and this one is no different.

Most of this is centered on the hunt for Kisten's killer (and Rachel's memories) and an issue with a banshee. Lots of Rachel and Jenks interaction, a decent amount of Ivy and Al and practically none with Trent and Ceri. Rachel does get to spe ...more

Kim is amazing. This book is one dark one. Kind of depressing for Rachel. :( But I like it. :) If this was supposed to be the last book (it's not.) I would have been very peeved.

You have to read the other short stories first. The one about Ivy's past (Dates from Hell) and Rachel's past (Holidays something)... I read from somewhere that they're important and as I was reading through the book and encountered instances where they talked about the past, I realized the story is way better that I've r ...more

so much action and fun. Al has some funny moments in this book, along with his normal demon attitude and actions. Missed Ceri in this book. Interesting happenings with Trent. Finally solved Kisten's murder. A new character introduced in this book and Rachel's brother is in it. ...more

Being the seventh book in a series, there is very little I can say about White Witch, Black Curse without spoiling anything. Therefore I will only say that it made me laugh out loud and cry. Being this engaged in the fictional lives of these characters is the highest praise I can give.

3.5*s - Too much Ivy/Rachel drama again. I really was hoping we had finished with that after the last book but it was back here. The last quarter or so when the demons and elves finally show up redeemed it for me.
