While the Psy-Changeling series will probably always remain my favorite of the two, I have definitely stopped thinking of this as the other Singh series. The last few books have pushed an already 4 star series over the top into 5+ with me.

I love that while each book tells a complete story, they also do a great job of contributing to the overall story arc about the Cascade and the almost inevitable battle between the archangels.

Wow! This is such a good read!

You should definitely read the previous books because they are awesome but more because you'll ruin the series if you don't read chronologically. It's been awhile since I read book 5 and since the main characters in the previous books weren't E &R it was hard to really remember their story. No need to bring out the old books and review. SN is an awesome writer that you get enough recall description. So there is no fear in getting lost with all the back stories. :)
