I almost didn't read this book, frankly I was starting to feel that this series was kind of played out. Whereas the author does a pretty good job at letting the charcters evolve over time, there was something about the past couple of books that just didn't seem in the same league as the rest of the series. (Maybe I just didn't care for the Draug storyline?)
