The werewolves are gathering. And only Rachel and her friends can stop them.

As urban fantasy series progress, it becomes harder and harder to summarize the plot without giving anything away. Let's just say that someone from Rachel's past needs her help, and of course, Rachel will even though it puts herself and the ones she loves in danger. For the first time in the series, the book is set away from Cincinnati, giving a glimpse of the wider world she lives in.

4th book and the series is still going strong. :) I really don't like Nick. Ha! Tag! :P I want to read more of Marshal! I don't like Kist so much... Oh well.

Other than possible romantic connections, this series really has interesting plots! I like this book in particular since the usual big boys are out because it's an "away" scenario.

One thing... I don't get the covers... She doesn't wear any of them in the story... weird. ...more

15/8/16 - Rereading this I remembered how weak this book was. Ivy is such a sad sack and her vampire angst was soooo dragged out. I find the vampire mythology in this world totally confusing. My sympathies towards the characters were completely the opposite to what the author was aiming for. I actually felt sorry for Nick!
