This was one of my most anticipated/dreaded series installations in a long time. What do I mean? Well Reseph /Pestilence has been a fascinating character since the first book in the horseman part of this wonderful series. We only had a few glimpses of Reseph, but Pestilence we became quite familiar with over the course of three books. If I had to make a list of the best “evil villains” in a series of all time, Pestilence would be up at the top. Possibly number 1! This is a guy who was so evil, a

*Minor SPOILERS from precious books in the series!
Rogue Rider is the thrilling culmination of Larissa Ione’s second series in her Demonica world, called Lords of Deliverence. Larissa’s duty into making the past three books’ villain into the hero in Rogue Rider was nothing short than herculean. However, if anyone could do it, it’s Larissa Ione, no doubt!

Never thought that I would get to love Reseph. Lots of action, hot & steamy sex, and a seriously hot horseman of the apocalypse.
Larissa Ione’s Lords of Deliverance series is great fun to read. Where else can you find the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse portrayed as gorgeous, hunky, smexy specimens of men (or woman)? Each book tells the story of one of the Four Horsemen. Book 4 focuses on Reseph (Pestilence). Ever since I read Lethal Rider, I have been dying to read Reseph’s story.

Oh boy. I know I didn't review the other books from this series, but I just can't wait. Let me start by saying that I was oh so very surprised by this book. I didn't expect to love Reseph as much as I did. And I also wasn't expecting to love his book almost as much as I loved Than's book (Lethal Rider).
In case you haven't read this series (shame on you!), Reseph has been the bad guy for almost the entire series. It wasn't until the very end of Lethal Rider that he gets to become one of the good ...more
