This was glorious. Made of awesome. Can't wait to read the next :) This book is a drug. I just got a taste and now I need MORE. I feel like an addict.


I'd like to just do a fangirl squeal or something but that isn't fair to the author or to ya'll so, I'm gonna try for an actual review.

Really interesting fantasy world. Different and it's a workable way to have blood thirsty predators also sympathetic. I really like it so far.

Tess is supposed to be terrifying and deadly and Simon is afraid of her but she's very sweet to Meg, more than just making friends.

How does she have money if she just started working? How could she have stolen it from the institute?

I can't believe they named the child Lizzie Borden.
