I missed characters in this Anita Blake novel like Asher & Jason. I've grown to like COOKIE MONSTER. Perhaps it is the blue hair?

I was frustrated at plot lines that were left untied from last time. What about the mer-people from Cape Cod? The author mentioned it, but it has not been resolved.

This was a pretty average book to read. I didn't love it, and I didn't hate it.
