This is the second book in the Alex Craft series. I absolutely loved the first book so I had very high expectations for this one and the author did a great job of meeting them . . . mostly.

When several left feet are discovered Alex, a grave witch, is called in by the police to consult as she can raise the spirit of the dead to find out what happened to them. The problem is with so little body Alex cant do her job. Alex has also recently found out that she is feykin and is trying to figure out wh

I really enjoyed this book. For me, it was better than Grave Witch. the characters were more fleshed out, and the story moved even faster. It didn't hurt that it really delved into the world of the Fae, a subject that tends to have intrinsic appeal for me. My one peeve was the weak love triangle in the book. (view spoiler) ...more

This was a fun second book in the series. Overall, as I mentioned in my review for the first book, this is a world that feels largely familiar, with a few tailored details... but it works for me. This is an awesome series and Grave Dance is just as sexy and exciting as the first book, Grave Witch. The plot is fabulously unique, characters are fascinating and the world building and imagery is delicious. Kalayna Price is taking the world of paranormal romance by storm and I can't get enough of her magic. Absolutely intriguing from beginning to end. Price is definitely an author to watch!
I wonder how long the wait is for the next book... I want it NOW!! LOL

It's been a while since I read the first book and I wasn't sure how easy it would be to slip back into the world and lose myself in the story but it was easier than expected once I got passed the first few chapters.

I can say for certain that the latter 2/3 of the story is action packed, lots of revelations concerning Alex's origins and developing powers. We get answers to a lot of questions about Falin, and we're left with questions about Death. I enjoyed learning more about Faerie and the diff
