I was hesitant to continue with this series, but when it was offered on sale I couldn't pass it up. MacKayla, or Mac as she likes to be called, has encountered quite a bit of craziness after traveling to Ireland to find answers in her sister's murder. What she finds is a humongous war between the Unseelie and Seelie fae, with mankind sandwiched in the middle for good measure. It's up to Mac to try and fight for the good side, whichever that side is because we spend much of this book trying to fi

So I'm apparently the only one who thought the first one was sexist and that the love interest was an ass. Then again, I'm the only one who came to that conclusion about Mercy Thompson after the second book. (Seriously, the men are jerks and she knows better but let's just humor him. Another FINISHED urban fantasy and it is a good one. I am in the 3rd book only, but I knew from the first paragraph of the first book this one would keep me up at night (reading). In fact, the sexual tension and doubt as to whether it will occur at all, are mounting with each chapter, just like a

I really enjoyed this second installment of this vastly popular fever series. Finally, some questions answered and some more to reveal. The main character is quickly developing a backbone with new and different priorities. I have to admit, some of it was painful to read, but necessary to the storyline. I can't wait for the next one, Faefever to arrive!
