This one might be my favourite so far tbh.
There's something about an established fantasy world where you are familiar with the characters that sometimes cannot hit its full stride until later books.
Peter continues to be trully amazing, kind, funny, sarcastic to the best british tradition. He makes mistakes, but he does them by being too eager, to curious.
These books also feel preternaturally London. If I needed to describe them with one workd it would be that, London. I have lived here for 8 ...more

I love this series - so well-written with many great one-liners and pop culture references. This third book has more of the police investigation - this time a murder case which also brings in the FBI - and less Nightingale and Peter's magical training than the first two, but the long story about the faceless man continues, and the end pretty much warranted a "dun dun dun!"

I have totally become addicted to this series. It’s the perfect mix of witty, snarky, supernatural, police procedures & it’s just all around a fun read.
I’ve heard it is going to become a tv series and I CANT WAIT! I
I absolutely recommend this series to those that like humor, often dark snark & paranormal stuff mixed with British wit.
Enjoy :)
