★★★★★ & a Wow! It took me awhile to write this review; the fabulous Ms. Patricia Briggs had wowed me beyond words. Dare I say this is her best work to date? I guess I can’t, since I haven’t read everything she’s written – yet! But, I’m willing to place that bet.

Simply put, this is a mystery about serial murders but with supernaturals both doing the killing and hunting the killers.
What I Liked
Anna’s not the scared girl that she was when we met her. True, the aftermath of her abuse is swept under the rug in this series just as it had been in the Mercy Thompson series. Aside from that, I am liking how she’s willing to believe in her relationship and work to save it.

I've had this sitting on my shelf for months but I couldn't bring myself to read it, then I noticed it was popping up on my updates feed as friends gave in and read it. I don't think anyone rated it less than 4 stars. So I gave in and I wasn't disappointed :)
