In my pretty much annual re-reads of the Kate Daniels series, I've always skipped over this book. I'm not entirely sure why, because I like it very much. I suppose it is because Kate and Curran are the draw for me. I like to immerse in a story and the main characters. I suppose that's why PNR was never a big draw for me - I want to follow the main characters, and dig in deep on their arcs. One-off books rarely interest me much, and with PNR I generally like the first book very mu ...more

When we first met Andrea in the Kate Daniels books I found it really hard to form an opinion of her, I liked her to an extent but I wasn't really attached to her, now after getting to know her better and spending time with her as the main focus I really like her!
I feel like Andrea grew up a little through this journey and it was something she had to do if she wanted a life with Raphael. Which brings me to Raphael... Where oh where do you start with him? He has p*ssed me off through the series a ...more

Always loved Andrea in Kate's books and I am so glad that she got her own book. It was awesome. Kick ass and take no prisoners. Andrea and Raphael are great together. I love that we got a chance to see why she was so reluctant to be part of the pack, and considering what happened to her I don't blame her. Love that she has finally embraced her beastkin side finally.

Andrea and Raphael. Hmmmm. They are a mean couple but didnt quite pack a punch like Curran and Kate did. I still like it. It was hilarious, sexy, and unpredictable. They reminded me of the Rock Chicks couples except Andrea is a mean, badass, anti-social and a hot beta.
Looking forward for m0re excitement. Awes0me.
