Going to try and give this one another go. I'm going to be skipping around a bit in this one.
First since I just finished the newest Dresden Files book, I'm starting with...
Jim Butcher~"Curses".
This is fairly interesting. I'm learning a little bit about baseball and the politics in the background. ooohh oooo YaY Bob the skull is in this story!
Christopher Fowler~"Oblivion by Calvin Klein"
This plot was just senseless to me. I didn't like the feel of the main character nor did I like her logic.

I'm reading this one out of order, as the spirit moves me.
"Fairy Gifts" by Patricia Briggs - I picked up this anthology for this story alone, as I'm traveling through the Mercy Thompson universe this year. I have not encountered the lead character in this story, a Chinese vampire from Butte, Montana named Thomas. Regardless, it's a fae-vampire tale set in some old-timey western mines, with nary a werewolf in sight. I enjoyed it.

3.5 stars for Curses by Jim Butcher.
Harry playing the diplomat, hoping to free the Cubs from a curse placed by the Fair Folk. Quick and light-hearted.
