I really enjoyed this collection of stories from the Dresdenverse. I'm not a big fan of anthologies so I hadn't read any of them previously. It's always harder to rate a collection of stories and this is no exception. Some of them are incredibly moving. In particular Aftermath (do not read until reading Changes) told from Murphy's POV had me in tears at one point. I also loved The Warrior. I liked all of the stoies, but since each short story falls between the Dresden Files books and I've been reading the books as they come out it's a little difficult to remember back to what was happening at the time. Also, I'd read several of the stories either in other anthologies or for free on Butcher's website. The real reason I bought this was for Back-Up, the novella from Thomas' perspective, and for the final story which comes after Changes and before the yet to be release Ghost Story. I ...more

First - this is a collection of Harry Dresden short stories, most (but not all) of them published in various other collections. Second - make sure you have read Changes before you read this (I'm sure you have, but bears mentioning), there is a spoiler story.
