Angels' Pawn (★★★★): This story concentrates on Ashwini, a guild hunter and the vampire Janvier. We've read about them every now and then in the previous books and know that Ash is usually hunting him. This time round, they have to work together though, and we see the chemistry build between them. It was a fun little story, that makes me hope those two get their own book one day.

This is a collection of four short storyies that are part of the Archangels series. I've read the first three elsewhere, but the fourth hasn't been published before and was, to me, worth buying the book. I'm not usually a big re-reader and I was happy to read all of first three stories again.
