Lord of the Abyss is Nalini Singh’s contribution to the Royal House of Shadows series. This fourth and final book focuses on Micah, the youngest child of King Alfric and Queen Olivina.
I did not read the first three books in the series, but I did not feel as if I had missed anything. The background of the series is recapped well.

I thought this was a perfect last book in this series. It was my first Nalini Singh book & now i will certainly be reading all her other books! It may come as a shock but my favourite character was actually the heroine this time instead of the hunky dude!! Liliana is loveable, loyal, fierce but timid at times & you can really see why Micah fell for her even though she wasn't perfectly beautiful in her looks. Overall this is a great read & i would recommend the whole series to anyone that likes p
