This book is not finished. The best way to read it is to read series as a whole.

In this one, everyone is still figuring out what their abilities are and what is happening in their world. Some progress is made, but other then that not much else happens (unless you count the multiple close calls they have with their pursuers). The 3rd book should resolve (I hope) everything (and should be awesome!)
