I'd considered starting this series for awhile but I just didn't get around to it before now.
I finally read book one The Summoning and I'm really happy that I did. It's a good book.

As it often is with a first book in a series there's a lot of background information and I felt that the first 2/3 of the book moved very slow, but the last 1/3 was great, really tense and with a lot of suspense.

This book was AWESOME!! I love how the description was pretty vague. I feel like too many books give away to much in the description. Most of the time I try not to read the description so it's not too predictable. This book had great pacing. Every chapter ended with me turning the page going right into the next. First book of the series... I'm not sure how I feel about this book, it was tiresome to keep listening to all the rambling of a teenage mind.
Overall it was ok, the characters were quite interesting and so was the plot. I do want to know more about them and what will happen to Chloe, Derek and Simon.
