I still had a hard time connecting with the characters but at least they were tolerable this time. There was no urge to kill Mac which surprised me. I felt relief that she's learning and growing as a person because she couldn't get more shallow and TSTL.

Hopefully the silliness will end very soon. I can say that I did like the subtle differences from the first book. This series is just drenched in mystery, and I can't wait to see what's in the basement.

Wow! The second book in the fever series was amazing! After I read Darkfever, in truth, I wasn't that impressed. I didn't like Mac much because she seemed like one of those girls I hate. However, Mac has grown into an ass kicking wonder, she has become increasingly smarter about both her position in the world and her future. She is much smarter than I gave her credit for and the girls has GUTS!
