More of a 3 1/2 stars. Really like these characters. The core group picked up from the first book (from 2 to 5). Plenty of humor, and lots of action in this book. It's still a little choppy to read, in parts. Ex. - she's at the RV then she's at the hospital ER dept then she's at the RV again, but didn't go anywhere. I don't know if it's a flashback that isn't written so you know that's what it is, or if it's my Nook, but as in the first book, sometimes the sequence just seems a little out of wha ...more

I read the first book months ago and don't remember too much of it, except it didn't really float my boat. This book happened to fit a challenge so I decided to give the series another try, and was pleasantly surprised.

This second book continues with Jaz and her new assortment of teammates going undercover as entertainers at a festival to recover a stolen piece of armor that super-genius Bergman created.
