If I had read this in 2010 I would be raving and roaring about how good this is and how infinitely sexy Dragos is. But my taste must have changed cause I can’t take the obsessive alpha male king thing seriously here, not the way it’s written.

Love love love this book!! It's got an amazing plot, fantastically unforgettable characters, including a gorgeous alpha male hero, and great humor. Plus it's really sexy! I want to keep gushing but I won't. Let me just say if you love paranormals and have a weakness for shapeshifters, you should really read this novel. Highly recommended. ...more

Oh, this was FUN. I've seen this recommended over and over again for fantasy fans who are skeptical about paranormal romance, and I'm glad I gave it a shot. This book is really quite clever, with an amusing premise and a great heroine. I enjoyed reading about Dragos and Pia -- whenever a problem comes up, they actually -gasp- TALK ABOUT IT. Amazing.

The only thing I didn't like was inconsistent voice -- at the beginning, Dragos was incredibly formal and stiff, but by the middle he was rather mod ...more
