So sad to be done with this series... I fell in love with the characters in each book.
Although Rydstrom is one of my favorites, this was not my favorite book in the series.
I think the whole relationship struggle between Sabine and Rydstrom is frustrating, but what other way could it be?? With a match made of good and evil, well at least she lives in a castle with evil. I enjoyed this book, and can't wait for the next.

The Immortal after dark series is wondrful.
This book was the best of them all.

I can be a good critic and say that its because of the world building, the great story line, or the good timing and dosage of romance and action.

But actualy it was simply Sabine.
Read the book just to meet her, to know her.
She is a beautiful, evil, strong, and funny as hell sorceress of illusions.

She is worth the book, the series and my overall shortage of sleeping hours.

GO READ!

The storyline of this book was pretty decent. I really liked the idea of Rydstrom playing dirty to defeat Sabine. I don't like Sabine very much because she is a torturous person. And she lies a lot. Not very fond of liars.

Good book. A great read for escapism. Rydstrom is good...but Cadeon is better. :] ...more
