Haven't got started on this author yet, not sure if I'll like the books as they look more PR and less UF than is almost always my taste. But what a fabulous cover!
[Update: Have now read the first and second books and am a fan. Author's strengths - mainly angel characters and society - were much more prominent in second book. This is a world I love, and I love the growing relationship between Elena and her archangel. Raphael's once crazy mom is up once again while a terrifying rage takes over the vampires of NY. When Raphael shows the signs of the same anger, things get deadly!

As usual, I am really impressed by the worldbuilding as we learn more about the Angels and more about Raphael's Seven. I really enjoy Elena and Raphael but I will admit that in this book - I enjoyed more the glimpses into the lives of the Seven. And now I am even more curious for Dmitri's book! And thank you Nalini for throwing me a bone and mentioning Ashwini and Janvier...don't you have time to do a novella for them as well? :)

I'll never get over Elena. Though I still don't feel she's a match for the "man-flesh" Raphael. Ï'm curious about Jason and Aodhan.. :-) be reading more of them I hope.
