There was great wisdom in striking the iron while it was hot.

There is never a dull moment at Gertrude Hunt. Sean's mentor, Wilmos has been kidnapped. The inn is tasked with hosting a contest to choose the Sovereign of the Seven Star Dominion's future spouse in order to save him. Of course, chaos ensues.

This is one of my favorite series and I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to get back to it. Dina and Sean are a great couple and fabulous innkeepers. I love all the interesting things that G ...more

I don’t really like stories where the villain gets away in the nick of time but this is technically the first time we’ve met him face to face so I’ll forgive it. Hopefully its a one time thing. I think the use of a villain across multiple books was done best in Hidden Legacy’s Caterina trilogy.

Actually I really struggled getting into this book. I even had it as an audiobook! It took me multiple days of listening to it at bedtime to get into the good parts. And the good parts is the consort comp ...more

Read the serial, free on the author website, which has now been taken down as the official book is now here. And we get a fantastic ending which wasn't in the serial. Not saying anything else about that as it would be a spoiler.

Wilmos, the old werewolf, has been kidnapped and to get where he's being held, Dina & Sean, need the help of the Sovereign of the Dominion. Just so happens he needs a place to hold his Spousal Selection.

I hope the Innkeeper Chronicles never stop. Ok, so I know every story has to come to an end but at least not any time soon hopefully. Like 5, maybe 6 (or more, I’ll always be happy with more).
