This really was more of a regency than an urban fantasy. They talked about magic a lot but they didn’t use it as much as they talked about it. They spent a lot of time discussing the various houses and guilds, what families had power and why. They spent a lot of time discussing. And talking. And speaking.

Good ending to Catalina's trilogy. But though Alessandro was gorgeous & devoted, he just wasn't as lethal and scary as Rogan and Catalina was not as volatile and scary as Nevada.
