I was really disappointed with this book. I had a hard time even finishing it. By about 2/3 of the way through, I seriously disliked all the characters. Keenan is... ugh. Donia has always been a jerk, but in this book she really takes it to an extreme. I can tell that the author wants us to feel sympathetic to Don, because of her "tragic circumstances", but every major character in this book is dealing with as much or more than Don, and her judgemental and horrible behavior towards them killed a

I'm going to put down the young adult genre and back away very slowly...
I don't know why I do this to myself. I see a book, think, 'Ah, I'd like to read that.' and then proceed without caution.
I am not a 'young adult'. My teen years are farther away than my 40s. So why did I pick up this book?
I needed a distraction. Also, my sister had brought this book up, wondering if I'd finished the series because she hadn't. I checked Goodreads and sure enough, we both stopped reading at the same time.

Like this one... but had less of an ending than the first 2. What I mean is that there is clearly a 4th on the way for each of the first 2 could stand alone and be seen as having a conclusion - where as this one, to me doesn't. I am eager to see how the triangle that has been set-up is resolved. I thoroughly enjoyed this book - a more traditional view of fairies, with courts and good vs. dark etc. Now I just need to figure out how long the wait will be until the next one!

This was a continuation on Seth and Ash's plot line, from the first book of the Wicked Lovely series. I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did book two from the series, but it has its small saving graces called supporting characters.
One character that I did like was the Unchanging Queen, she was interesting in the descriptive pages about her. She reminded me of a mix of the Witch from, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Chiana from Farscape. Weird mix I know, but that's the image that my ...more

Sorcha's attraction to Seth is bizarre. It made no sense. When is Ash going to wake up and realize that Keenan is a shady shady character and stop trusting him. She's like a brick.
