What Members Thought

I really enjoyed reading this book.
The second book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Lover Eternal focuses on Rhage. Rhage was such a conflicted character. He was powerful, fierce and dangerous, yet he had a soft side for his human mate, Mary.
Rhage was constantly at odds with his curse. He turned into a very dangerous monster whenever he lost control.
Once again, I did not like the secondary plot about the Lessors. I wanted more Rhage and Mary and less Mr. X.

2011 Re-read
I loved this book. Hollywood is such a tough guy, has been dealing with "The Beast" for almost a century, he can tear lessers apart without hardly any effort, he is... well, Hollywood gorgeous. But what he's always wanted is a true mate, someone he can share his life with. And then he meets Mary.
Mary is kind-hearted, with a bit low self esteem, and a human who has been through so much during her short life. Not just with her illness, but her mom's as well. Her life has not been easy. ...more

Doing a Buddy re-read (kind of) with Leea and Wendy (although they are already finished).

++3.5 Stars++
Starting Lover Eternal, it was kind of slow like book 1, Dark Lover, but I loved it and quite enjoyed the story of Rhage and Mary. Rhage is a complete flirt. Also he is hot, tortured, funny and a total romantic. He is basically the ladies man. Rhage has got to be my favorite warrior. And he will do anything to save his woman. He is absolutely perfect. I wouldn't mind spending an evening with this guy.
But, Rhage has a dark side of him, deep within him hides a beast which is powerful ...more

Amazing. This is definitely 5 stars series. I was falling in love with the first book. Now second book, I’m head over heels. Loved the plot, a little predictable but this is one of the book that I’d willing to overlook the flaws. I love all of the old characters, of course Rhage, and the new, Mary Luce, Bella, and John Matthew. I can’t wait to read about the newly introduced newbies. I definitely continue one to read the next books. I just have to try to pace myself a little slower. Don’t want t

By the end of the book I was in tears. Rhage was not the warrior I had figured he'd be. I assumed he'd be a playboy, which is how the other brothers saw him, but was surprised to find such a huge heart under that tough rogue exterior. Definitely more emotionally charged then book 1, but oh so wonderful. I can't get over how well written these books are!
