Book 4 of the Black Dagger Brotherhood is Butch's story. Butch the only human member of the brotherhood is in love with a high society vampire named Marissa.

I found Marissa to be periodically annoying through the book, but then she would do something that would redeem her in my eyes, but this book is definitely Butch's journey to becoming a full fledged Brother.

Along the way we find out more about the transition through John Matthew and his classmates as well as Butch. Shhhush I didn't say that. ...more

I love this series, but I put it down for a while, so I'm ready for some of this brothers love!!!

This one was an excelent book. Starting for the fact the Butch was the only human around the brotherhood, the he have himself quite a past and the he is in love with Marissa, an aristocratic, out of his leage, vampire women, this story only gets better and better.
