This book has finally managed to get me hooked on the BDB books. This is the 4th book that I have read and after this one I finally understand why everyone raves about this series. This book was excellent. The only reason I did not give it a 5* was Marissa willingness to sacrifice her love for Butch because he wants to fight in the brotherhood. I just did not get that, this was what made him, gave him a purpose but she was not willing to accept him yet she was going to marry the King who heads t ...more

So happy that Butch and Marissa finally got together. I liked Marissa before, but I really liked her in this book. It was good to see her grow as a person. I don't love how they fixed the problem of Butch being human, but oh well. It was still a fun read. ...more
