this was great. i didnt expect to like it as much as i did. ive always been looking for fallen angel books and the only ones ive read were youg adult books and i was soooo glad to find a adult urban fantasy/paranormal romance one about angels. the only thing i didnt like was that it wasnt really in elena's POV. b/c sometimes i had no idea who they were talking about, like there were 2 women in the room and they said, "she"...it got kinda confusing sometimes....but i would love elena/rapheal POV. ...more

Two stars because the world premise had such promise. Beyond that it was a struggle to finish this book - I even stopped and reread the rave reviews looking for what I was missing. The plot was literally only a few pages in the first 2/3rds of the book with the rest consumed by what I assume was supposed to be the inevitable attraction and developing relationship of the main characters.
